SALIENT FEATURES Spike Protection - MOV (Metal oxide Varistor) spike suppressor mounted on the AC input damps any spike over 200% of nominal input voltage with transit response time of 25ns.(A standard surge voltage measures 40 micro sec. in width.) Battery Low Protection and Auto Restart - The invertor supplies when line power is not available. To avoid battery Damage from over discharge, the generator shuts down automatically. The unit automatically restarts when the AC line is normal. Overload /Short Circuit Protection - The inbuilt electronic sensing circuitry gets activated when the generator is on backup & overload or short circuit occurs. The Overload condition is latched till the mains resumes or is manually reset. The internal fuse protects the wall outlet from damage due to overload or short circuit when generator is on mains. Charger Trip Protections - If no Battery or dead battery is connected, generators will check for voltage at battery connectors. If it is less than specified voltage (i.e. 4 volts x no. of batteries) Charger will be Tripped to avoid over loading and charger trip light on front panel will glow. Charger - Sophisticated Constant Voltage current limit (CVCL) charger to avoid over charging is also provided. This also assures full charging within expected time, even when mains supply is very low (170V).This assures full backup.
